We have had a great week!!  I asked them to answer this question before they left today.  You will be happy to know that it was more than just recess and lunch!

Just a few reminders

Drop off is in the gym ( they did awesome with this today!)

If your child plans to attend the pep rally be sure that you send a note Friday morning.

Your child will be bringing home their planner, initial it daily please.  This is a great tool to use for communication between us.

Hello all! First day of school is TOMORROW! I can’t WAIT! Our team is ready for school to start! Here are a few tips to help with the first day jitters!

• Have a relaxing night and a good night’s sleep!
• Get up in plenty of time to have a calm morning!
• Remember, 3rd grade goes to the gym in the morning before school. If they need to eat breakfast, then can do that first, then go to the gym.
• Parents can walk their child to the gym the first morning and give hugs. The teachers will be in the gym to help them find where to sit.
• No one will come to the classrooms before school. We all wait in the gym together!

I hope the students are as excited as I am! This third grade team can’t WAIT to start this year!

I enjoyed meeting each of you last night! It makes me so excited for Monday!! Yes teachers get excited and nervous on the first day too:) Just a few things to remember if you haven’t brought your planner money you can do that Monday and most importantly make sure that you know how you are getting home. It’s going to be a great year!
